Peptide Anti-Aging Facial Cream

I couldn’t wait to try out this absolutely fantastic Anti-Aging Facial cream. As the French would say, it is “La crème de la crème!” It is jam-packed with some of the best anti-aging ingredients known to mankind, so I ordered it online from Amazon and it came to my doorstep within a week. I absolutely love this antiaging cream! It’s called Peptide 6 Anti-Aging Facial Cream by Mango Madness Skin Care. It’s rich, luxurious and leaves my skin looking and feeling more youthful – softer than anything else I’ve tried.

Its ingredients include the maximum dosage of six of the most potent peptides currently available, including Argireline® and Matrixyl which are both stronger than the antiaging properties of Vitamin C and it works quicker than Retinol but without the side effects of Retinol. The peptides in this marvelous antiaging cream gave me a noticeable difference to my skin within a two week period. My wrinkles appeared shallower, my skin appeared stronger, less wilted than before. Peptides, you see, (the building blocks of proteins), in this cream made it all possible. The science also proves that peptides build collagen that substance we begin to lose as we age and lose the volume in the face.

The Peptide 6 Anti-Aging Facial Cream comes in a 30 ml, 1 oz jar and sells for just $59.00 and it’s worth every penny in my books. Peptides, the research shows are supposed to improve the depth of wrinkles, fill out lost facial volume and smooth the skin. How do they do this? They are the “messengers” of the natural daily process of tissue repair.

The following is a description of the actual peptides used in the Peptide 6 Antiaging Facial cream:

"Argirilene® is an anti-wrinkle inhibitor that will reduce pre-existing wrinkle depth and relax facial tension.
Leuphasyl compliments the action of Argirilene by modulating muscle contraction, especially beneficial for reducing depth of wrinkles around the eye and forehead areas. Octapeptide is an elongation of Argirilene. By extending and lengthening the muscle under tension, it reduces wrinkle depth in your skin.
Matrixyl 3000 contains 2 lipopeptides, which leads to the synthesis of new collagen. This peptide stimulates Collagen I, III & IV. It also increases elastin while repairing the skin matrix and epidermis.
Tripeptide, a safe, synthetic snake venom, temporarily debilitates the muscle, keeping it from contracting, thereby smoothing lines in wrinkle prone areas. These peptides can significantly modulate muscle contraction, thereby destabilizing the cell so it cannot release the neurotransmitters that make the muscle contract. This prevents the formation of lines and wrinkles."

Instead of heading to a cosmetic surgeon so fast, try Peptide 6, because it’s a safer, cheaper and milder option to consider before you begin to have Botox (Botulinum Toxin) injected into your face. Because it builds up volume and collagen, it’s much easier and cheaper as an alternative to Botox. Peptide 6 can also work on sun damaged skin and help repair the aging that comes with that situation.

You can use Peptide 6 Anti-Aging Facial Cream as both your day cream and your night repair cream. I’m absolutely loving this one and found it of a higher quality than the store-bought antiaging creams I’ve used before. I doubt I’ll ever go back to anything else.

Yoga and its effects on aging

Lots of people practice Yoga for anti-aging because it keeps their bodies toned and their mind focused and is one of the main weapons in fighting aging. This ancient form of exercise that originated in India has become a popular form of antiaging exercise all over the world because of its beneficial effects on the human body. You could say that people become “addicted to their yoga classes and cannot survive without them. What many people do not consider the fact that it is also very beneficial to people dealing with the effects of aging.

Anti-aging Yoga is not necessarily a strenuous exercise but it does help to improve one’s blood circulation. More advanced classes of yoga can become strenuous to the novice, but as one shapes up and progresses through a yoga program, it can become quite strengthening indeed. It can also help to increase a person’s immunity levels, thereby giving a person freedom from many common ailments. It also stimulates the brain as well as the pituitary thyroid, adrenal and sex glands to function better, thereby ensuring that the effects of aging are kept at bay.

Another benefit of this ancient form of exercise is that it gives a person excellent posture thanks to increased muscular strength. Apart from making the person look younger and better, this also ensures that the person breathes properly and from deep within the lungs, thereby leading to improved bodily functions. A practitioner of yoga will experience improvement to the digestive process and as a result of this, the process of elimination of waste and toxins from the body also improves.

Yoga also involves a lot of meditation and breathing exercises. A person who practices it regularly will be emotionally well balanced and will also have a more positive outlook on life. The reason for this is that through exercise – the body experiences an increase of endorphins and serotonin hormones – both hormones which make a person experience a great sense of well being. This optimistic attitude has a good effect on the body as well and the person will retain a more youthful look in the face and body. People who are having a hard time dealing with the onset of aging will definitely benefit from following these exercises. A person would require an instructor’s help at the outset but you can switch to practicing it at home once you’ve gained enough expertise and experience which comes from knowing the positions, the moves and the breathing.

This is a very inexpensive form of exercise to do once a person gains enough knowledge and expertise to do yoga alone at home. Although yoga classes can get expensive, taking the occasional yoga class and then running a DVD on your TV can cost you less and help you to manage the cost of yoga. The nice thing about owning your own yoga DVD and doing yoga at home is that you don’t have to run out to the yoga studio or the gym, it can be done at any convenient time.

I can recommend some of the best DVDs on yoga and anti-aging seen in the images in this article. You can purchase them here from the popular Amazon website – the most trusted online shopping site on the web. It's kind of nice when a new book or DVD arrives, just for you, right at your door.

Suzanne Somers' Weightloss Supplements Formula

Suzanne Somers recently published one of the most helpful books for women over 40 who want to lose weight. She is living proof that her recommendations on diet work. Suzanne lives what she preaches and then spreads the word. Her book “Sexy Forever – How to Fight Fat After Forty” is the most informative guide to weight loss for women over 40 on the bookshelves now.
Link
Not only does Suzanne supply us with a diet plan but her book recommends daily exercises and is full of healthy, delicious recipes to help promote weight loss. I like her recommendations for an easy exercise plan consisting of her “daily moves” to get healthy and stay sexy. A little bit of yoga stretching, a few stomach exercises, exercises to get your heart pumping, a little weight resistance training and in a few weeks you'll be looking and feeling better.

But there's more than just this. She tells us about what is causing us to lose our health and our ability to lose weight. It's toxins in our foods and our environment that's to blame. Suzanne helps us to get rid of those toxins in our food and environment to clear our systems for losing weight. Every diet should begin with a detox diet and you'll find instructions on how to detox your body to prepare for weight loss after 40.

Suzanne also informs us of the nutritional supplements necessary to lose weight after 40. there is a comprehensive list of the supplements we should take as we grow older and there is Suzanne Somers' sexy weight loss formula which works in tandem with the detoxing, healthy diet, and daily moves exercise plan.

What's the ingredients of Suzanne Somers Sexy Weight Loss formula? The ingredients are a combination of supplements which have demonstrated in scientific studies to promote weight loss and reducing the waist line. They are combined together and you drink them twice a day before your two biggest meals of the day. The ingredients consist of four natural supplements for weight loss. They are LuraLean 2000 mg, Phaseolus vulgaris (white kidney bean extract ) 445 mg, Irvingia (west African plant extract) 150 mg, and green tea phytosome, 150 mg. You've probably never heard of these before because I've never heard of them before either. These are available in a formula which you mix with water and drink twice a day.

What is LuraLean? Well LuraLean I found out is an ingredient which helps to block calorie, fat and carbohydrate absorption. What more could you ask of a supplement? It is taken before your two biggest meals of the day. There has been research done on this natural supplement for weight loss. LuraLean, I found out is a fibre. People involved as test subjects in the study lost more weigh over an eight week period than those who were taking the placebo. In fact they lost 5.5 pounds on LuraLean as compared to those not taking it, over the two month study. Also found in the research was that the blood levels of bad cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides were substantially lowered for those taking LuraLean. I think I'll have to get some of this right now.

The second ingredient of Suzanne Somers Sexy Weight loss formula is the white kidney bean extract or known by its Latin name as Phaseolus vulgaris. Phaseolus vulgaris is a dietary supplement and has also been shown to reduce the waist line and promote weight loss at a faster rate than those taking a placebo in scientific studies. These research studies also showed a reduction in triglyceride levels and keep blood glucose levels stable.

Irvingia, a West African plant extract is also a part of Suzanne Somers' Sexy Weight Loss Formula. What's so great about Irvingia? It helps promote the activity of the hormone leptin which helps tell us when we have eaten enough and breakdown the fat cells. Irvingia also helps out with insulin sensitivity which is a good thing too in helping us deal with our difficulty in losing weight after 40.

Lastly, green tea extract is, obviously, from green tea which helps to speed up weight loss and is good for your health in so many other ways. You can drink three to four cups of green tea to combat tiredness and speed up your metabolism or you can take 150 mg of green tea extract which is equivalent to three cups of green tea per day. Green tea is very good for you and should replace your coffee consumption. It is the polyphenol compounds in the green tea that boost your metabolism.

You can purchase this Suzanne Somers recommended Sexy Forever weight loss supplements formula from her website where you can buy a month's supply or else buy them, certified authentic Life Extension products, online from Amazon, the most trusted online store on the internet and have them delivered safely and directly to your home. If you want to actually read Suzanne Somers “Sexy Forever – How to Fight Fat After Forty”book, you can also buy the book or the Kindle edition for a price much lower than the bookstore from Amazon.

Anti-Aging Skin Care Oils

I’ve just bought an anti-aging skin care oil to try out, always in the never-ending search of skin rejuvenation products that are antiaging and natural. It’s a natural essential oil from the Tamanu tree (Calophyllum tacamahaca) which grows on the island of Tahiti.

Among other things, this oil promises skin rejuvation – antiaging, scar removal, moisturizing and correct dry red scaly skin problems and has powerful antioxidant properties. Anti-oxidants in this oil help prevent oxidative skin damage, something we all want.

This 100% cold pressed Tamanu nut oil smells of a delightful, nutty fragrance which brings me to another point, you should not use this if you are allergic to nuts. However, if you are not allergic to nuts, you smooth on the oil all over your body after a bath or washing your face. It can be used directly on the skin. I bought and tested the Tamanu Nut Oil bottled by Hedd Wyn Essentials and it comes in a little bottle with a roll-on applicator – very good for target problem areas such as age spots and wrinkles under the delicate eye area. The shelf life of this essential oil is ten to 14 months, but shelf life will be reduced if it is store in a hot climate and not kept cool.

Tamanu Nut Oil is a natural antiaging oil, good for your skin and good for your body and helps prevent the signs of aging we don’t want. It especially works well on fine wrinkles and age spots and I’m applying it directly to those nasty brown age spots on my arms and hands a couple of times a day.

Nanoblur Review

I promised a while back that I would write a review on the antiaging skin care product Nanoblur which promises to make you look “ten years younger.” Well, the time has come and I started using it about two weeks ago and can now publish my findings. I started using it because my friend who's using Nanoblur as well told me she was using it and I had to get it.

So I decided to start using Nanoblur, try it out and write this review. I noted that my friend's face looked softer and still natural so I tried it out the next day.

Nanoblur is a cream that you apply after you have put on your moisturizing cream. It's got a nice light texture. It is supposed to correct the things we want to get rid of as we age, such as fine lines, wrinkles, crow's feet and enlarged pores. It also promises to make you look 10 years younger.

Here are my findings: overall, it gives your skin a softer glow. That I can vouch for viewing my friend's face and my own. It may get rid of some of my fine lines and some of my wrinkles. It helped with the large pore situation. I don't have crow's feet yet so I can't judge that aspect of Nanoblur.

My biggest disappointment is that, no, it doesn't make me look 10 years younger by any stretch of the imagination. It doesn't make my best girlfriend look 10 years younger. Really, that promise is sort of stretching the truth. Should you buy this product? Yes, I'll keep using it because I must admit, it does add a kind of softness to the skin and I like that in Nanoblur. If you want to obtain that softness, try Nanoblur and you will see that it does, at least, give you this... Add this product to your anti-aging arsenal.Link

Does growth hormone slow aging?

Many people are rushing to buy growth hormone for a variety of reasons. However, one of the key reasons is that it is believed that growth hormone can slow aging or prevent it all together. Growth hormone is produced in a pea-sized structure located at the base of the brain. This hormone is vital for normal growth and development. Without growth hormone, many organs cannot develop and life expectancy is shortened. Growth hormone levels are highest during the early years of life and the production is less with advancing age. Today, there is synthetic growth hormone available that can only be injected. It is available with a prescription for certain approved medical disorders. in general, growth hormone deficiency is extremely rare and the majority of cases may be due to brain tumor, surgical removal or radiation therapy. When growth hormone is administered to people it can increase bone density, increases muscle mass, decreases body fat and even increases exercise capacity. However, there are no long-term studies, which show that growth hormone can prevent aging or reduce the rate of aging.

Growth hormone affects may organs in the body and is not an innocuous protein- there are definite risks when taking this hormone unnecessarily. People who take growth hormone can develop numerous nerve compression syndrome including carpal tunnel syndrome, swelling in the legs and arms, muscle and joint pains, breast growth in men and uneven growth. There is strong evidence, which shows that growth hormone can also worsen or produce new onset diabetes and stress the heart. These side effects of growth hormone are much more common in older people compared to young individuals.

Growth hormone is widely sold over the internet as a pill but it appears that these are fake products. Growth hormone is small protein molecule that would immediately be destroyed by the stomach acidity when taken by mouth, so oral preparations are useless. If you want to look young, then growth hormone is certainly not the answer. The best way to look young is to quit smoking, exercise regularly and eat healthy. You can rest assured, everyone will die and if you fool around with growth hormone, you may not age butLink you sure can die prematurely.

What are the chief features of perimenopause?

Most women tend to worry when the menstrual cycles suddenly start to change in length and flow. Perimenopause is a normal physiologic event experienced by most women and is not a life threatening condition. The hallmark of perimenopause is irregular periods. On most cases, the periods start to become longer and the blood flow is scant. However, this is nothing to worry about it especially if it occurs in the 40s. During the initial phase of perimenopause, periods can be heavy and one may have to frequently change the pads, but soon the flow will become scant. In some cases spotty bleeding may last anywhere from 4-8 days. Another feature of perimenopause is that the periods tend to occur less than 21 days apart.

Often these changes prompt women to visit their doctor to ensure that nothing sinister is going on. If one is worried about the symptoms, a visit to the doctor is justified. Unfortunately, there is no one test that can make a diagnosis of perimenopause. The doctor can only make a diagnosis of this disorder based on the individual's history, symptoms and physical exam. The body symptoms experienced generally are the strongest clue that perimenopause has set in. Rarely some doctors may order hormonal levels to confirm the diagnosis, sometimes thyroid hormones are also checked because deficiency of thyroid hormone can also present with similar changes.

In any case, the majority of women go through perimenopause, which may last 3-9 months and enter menopause.

What are symptoms of perimenopause?

Unlike menopause, the symptoms of perimenopause are not always clear cut. The changes may be so slight that one may not even notice them. Some of the symptoms of perimenopause include:

Irregular menstrual cycles. As one approaches menopause, the menstrual cycles become irregular and erratic. The intervals between periods may become longer or shorter and the flow rate may also be scant or there may be no period. As menopause sets in one may start to miss periods regularly.

The next set of symptoms which occur in about 70% of women are hot flashes. Facial flushing and sensation of feeling warm occur periodically. Associated with the hot flashes are difficulty in sleeping, chills and drenching sweating episodes. Sleeping difficulties are one of the most common complaints in women in the perimenopausal period.

Mood changes are also common in the perimenopausal period. Some women may feel down or depressed for no reason. These mood disorders during menopause are not strictly associated with fluctuating hormone levels but to other factors which remain unknown. The depression does tend to be mild but can be easily triggered by any number of factors.

Other common symptoms of perimenopause include vaginal dryness or loss of lubrication in the genitals. Thus, sexual intercourse is very uncomfortable or painful. Most women will not be able to conceive during perimenopause because the menstrual cycles have started to become irregular. In any case, if you do not want to get pregnant, use birth control until you have complete absence of periods for at least 6-12 months. Fortunately for most women perimenopause does not depress libido but in fact creates more desire for sex. This is a common observation in many women. Some unlucky women may start to complain of bone pain due to excessive bone thinning. In general, osteoporosis does not become evident much later after menopause has set in.

One does not always need to see a doctor when perimenopause sets in. If the symptoms of perimenopause are mild and tolerated, simple changes in life style and homes remedies will suffice. However, if the symptoms like depression are severe, then it is important to seek medical help.

Is menopause and perimenopause the same thing?

Perimenopause is the transition period or the interval before one truly becomes menopausal. The perimenopausal time period is a natural shift of the hormonal cycle to irregular cycles and finally towards permanent infertility – the loss of eggs. The timing of perimenopause is variable and starts at different ages. For most women it starts in the 40s but in some cases, it may even start in the late 30s.

A woman may notice that her periods are becoming irregular and may vary in length of days from longer to shorter; and the actual menstrual cycle may also vary. This may go one for several months and eventually lead to permanent cessation of the menstrual cycle.

Associated with the perimenopausal period is the start of some symptoms like hot flashes, difficulty sleeping and vagina dryness. In most cases, the perimenopausal period lasts about 9-12 months. Once a woman has gone through 12 consecutive months without a menstrual period, she has then medically reached the stage of menopause.

Bio-Oil for Scars and Wrinkles

I’ve been using a little bottle of Bio-Oil made by a company in South Africa for a couple of months when treating a scar and then for much longer as an anti-aging wrinkle preventer.

Recently I had a mole removed from my face by a plastic surgeon. For scar recovery, the plastic surgeon suggested I start out using pure vitamin E to treat the scar over a period of two months. By simply pricking the vitamin E capsule and pressing out the pure vitamin E oil and gently smoothing it over the scar. After the two month period, he said I should use Bio-Oil, available in any drugstore. This is how I have treated my scar. After all was healed, I was left with a barely noticeable scar.

Since then, I’ve been using Bio-Oil over a night time moisturizer around the eye area and above my upper lip to try and prevent and get rid of my wrinkles. This is where my wrinkles seem to be appearing first.

Bio-Oil is an orange colored oil containing something call PurCellin Oil. It is recommended for uneven skin tone, scar healing, stretch mark prevention and wrinkle prevention and treatment. I checked out the website and they say that there have been studies on Bio-Oil done over a period of time for all of these problems. All of these studies show positive results.

The ingredients of this product are listed as the following from the company’s website (www.bio-oil.com:

Paraffinum Liquidum
Triisononanoin
Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate
Isopropyl Myristate
Retinyl Palmitate
Tocopheryl Acetate
Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil
Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil
BHT
Bisabolol
Parfum
Amyl Cinnamal
Benzyl Salicylate
Citronellol
Coumarin
Eugenol
Geraniol
Hydroxycitronellal
Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde
Limonene
Linalool
Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone
CI 26100

As you can see, it’s got some very nice oils in it such as vitamin E, rosemary, lavender, calendula, sunflower and soyabean oils, all useful for skin healing and wrinkle prevention. You might ask what is PurCellin oil. I was curious to find out to. It’s a lab creation oil from the glands of a duck, secreted when the duck is preening its feathers. It is used as a delivery system for the other oils.

It’s a nice oil to use for both scar healing and wrinkle prevention/curing. I saw the results of the scar healing properties of the oil and the jury is still out on whether it helps prevent wrinkles. The price is reasonable for a bottle of Bio-Oil. I’ll buy it again for its antiaging benefits when this bottle runs out.

Suzanne Somers Interviewed About Ageism in Hollywood

Suzanne Somers was interviewed on TV on The Insider show about ageism in Hollywood and her views on celebrity infidelity. Although some stars in Hollywood such as Jane Fonda, Sharon Stone, Juliette Binoche and Julian Moore do find good roles, generally, there are not a lot of interesting roles for female actors in Hollywood. It seems that once an actress hits 30 - 35 years of age, the good acting roles dry up. Male actors find acting roles, no matter what their age. They are often paired up in relationships with female stars almost half their age or less.

Hollywood stars have to undergo botox, plastic and cosmetic surgery and starve themselves just to remain "young looking" as the roles become less available.

Not only does ageism exist in Hollywood, ageism is very present in the workforce. It is more difficult for older women to find work in the workforce. Ageism, like any other prejudice pre-judges a human being.

What can you do to fight ageism? If you are in a position to hire, don't hire a person just based on their looks or youth. Hire the best person for the role and let their qualifications and experience guide your hiring decision. If you are in Hollywood, hire actors in the appropriate age group to play opposite the male star.

The ironic news about ageism in the workforce is that with declining population levels, corporations will have to rely on and hire older workers who want to work because there will be too many people collecting pensions and not enough young workers to support the pension system.

Looking your best as you grow older can be helped by using good antiaging creams, eat a healthy diet, exercise to keep yourself in the best shape. Get a great haircut and don't dress in old fuddy clothes. Dress professionally for the workplace, not trying to be a 22 year old, but wear classy, nice styled clothes. If you need it, see your cosmetic surgery doctor for some collagen injections, but don't overdo it. The final advice is, get rid of your stress and keep a happy and optimistic mood. Let your happiness spread around.

Slowly, attitudes will change in the workplace and hopefully Hollywood will make movies that reflect real life more closely. I mean, how often do you see a 67 year old man who's all saggy and baggy, married or falling in love with a 22 year old hot thing? It doesn't happen very often unless the old man has stacks of cash.

Breast Cancer Risk After Menopause Heightened With Weight Gain

For anti aging during menopause, you've got to do a few things to fight the risk of getting breast cancer. Women tend to gain weight during menopause which increases their risk of breast cancer. Menopause includes the symptoms of sleep disturbances, hot flashes, dry skin and mood changes all contribute to a lowered quality of life for many women. Weight gain during menopause is also an issue for most women and also a major problem because the risk factor for breast cancer increases because of this.

The cause of menopause weight gain is directly related hormone imbalances and the loss of hormones. This weight gain occurs first in the waist and abdominal area. Women in menopause also appear to generally reduce the amount of exercise they get and this contributes to the problem. Compounding this, muscle mass declines as you age and is replaced by fat. We all know that muscle burns more calories than fat. Losing muscle mass contributes to the weight gain of fat. This is not a healthy place to be.

Because of the loss of hormones during menopause, the body tries to create estrogen in the fat around your waistline. This can lead to estrogen dominance which increases the risk for breast cancer

What Is the solution?

For fight the diseases of aging such a breast cancer, it is necessary to change your lifestyle. This begins with a diet and exercise program. Eating right and exercising during menopause is more important than ever at this time in your life.

The best anti aging tip for you is to lose weight, eat right to reduce your breast cancer risk. Also add exercise into your daily routine. An anti aging diet and exercise program are your best bets. Remember also to supplement your diet with nutritional supplements that you may not get with your daily intake of food. Visit your doctor and have him or her test your hormone levels and get them corrected with bioidentical hormones. Do not use the synthetic hormones because they actually increase breast cancer risk. All good advice for aging well and living healthy.

Nanoblur Anti Aging Cream

The ads for Nanoblur anti aging cream are very enticing. What drew me to this cream is the promise in the full page ad in the newspaper, that it can make you look ten years younger in 40 seconds. That’s a big promise. Almost all anti aging creams promise results in as short a period of time as two weeks, but Nanoblur is promising you youth in 40 seconds, without makeup, without procedures and they assure us in their ad that there is no photo retouching. We all know the wonders of Photoshop and how every single photo in the magazine and Hollywood industry has been retouched with the tools of Photoshop. Nanoblur antiaging cream is promising that they haven’t done any retouching of the photograph in their full page ad which shows the model’s face, divided in half, one half has been treated with Nanoblur and the other half has been left alone.

In the ad for Nanoblur anti aging cream, Nanoblur is boasting that it removes shine (something we all known can be done by using simple facial powder), that it minimizes wrinkles and fine lines which sounds promising, that it can make your pores appear smaller which is useful, achieves uniform skin tone (something that can be done with liquid makeup) and makes your nasolabial folds appear less deep. All of these promises in a tube of Nanoblur will cost you only $19.00. Minimizing nasolabial folds seems like the most amazing promise of Nanoblur anti aging cream. Minimizing nasolabial folds is usually only achieved with any number of collagen cosmetic fillers which will set you back about $400 per tube. The promises of Nanoblur cream can be achieved with just a 40 second or less application of the cream and will make you appear 10 years younger.

Nanoblur anti aging cream works with all skin types and tones of skin. This anti aging product works for both men and women. It is not classified as a makeup because it has no color and consists of millions of tiny prisms. It also does not contain cancer causing parabens or aromas – so no allergy issues here.
Link
Does it work? Does Nanoblur anti aging cream make you look instantly 10 years younger? It all sounds too good to be true and I hope it’s not. I’m off to my Rexall Pharmaplus pharmacy – the only place you can buy it and test it out. I mean, you’ve got to try it to find out if it works. I’ll let you know after I’ve done my testing.

Anti aging Cosmetic Surgery with Radiesse

A Natural Look that Lasts

I have reviewed a few other wrinkle fillers including Restylane, Artecoll, Juvederm and Botox and found one of the best cosmetic dermal fillers for anti aging your wrinkles and deep folds in the skin is Radiesse. I’ve done the research, spoken to the various companies that make these cosmetic wrinkle fillers and with women and men who have actually had the work done.

I was speaking with my anti-aging specialist, a medical doctor and a bioidentical hormone expert and I asked her if she uses any cosmetic filler herself. She confirmed that she used “everything” and specifically used Botox for around the eyes and forehead and a filler called Radiesse for her nasal labial folds. She looks fabulous. I asked her why she uses Radiesse and she said it is because it is the longest lasting filler and therefore becomes the cheapest. Radiesse can last up to a year or more and I am considering, for the first time, actually getting it done myself.

What to Expect from Radiesse

Cosmetic surgery for the face done with Radiesse is a budget conscious decision. As far as cosmetic fillers go, it does the job of filling deep folds in the skin which come as a result of aging and the reduction of collagen and elastin within the skin. The best thing about Radiesse is that it is long lasting. This makes it great for your budget. Instead of having to go and get cosmetic surgery each four to six months, you can have this done once a year or even up to once every two years. The end result is natural and reduces the look of tiredness in your face.

Radiesse can be used for nasal labial folds, augmenting the cheek bones, jaw line contouring, tear troughs, marionette lines and filling up old scars such as acne scars. It is advertised as a “next generation in longer lasting wrinkle correction.” As a dermal filler, it’s one of the best.

What is Radiesse made of?

Radiesse has been approved by the health agencies in North America and Europe (FDA approval) and is a safe treatment for the correction of wrinkles and folds.

It is made of calcium based microspheres in a natural gel and is injected into the problem areas. These microspheres work with your body and help support and stimulate the growth of your own collagen. They eventually break down and are naturally absorbed into the body. The results are immediate and last anywhere from one to two years. It is safe and has been clinically tested over many years. Over 4000 doctors have received training with Radiesse dermal filler application.

How is Radiesse used?

Radiesse is injected into the problem sites under the skin. It is used with a local anesthetic to numb the pain of injection which is like a small pin prick. An ice pack is applied immediately after to reduce numbness and swelling. Your doctor may massage the areas after injection to ensure even correction. You could have some side effects such as mild irritation, itching, bruising, swelling or tenderness at the injection site, but most of these side effects are rare.

It can be done in a lunch hour, but maybe take the day off to admire your new younger looking skin. There may be“firmness” to the injection site, but this will dissipate in the days that follow. Avoid aggressive washing or rubbing immediately after having the Radiesse dermal filler done.

As an anti aging tip for best dermal fillers, Radiesse is one of the best choices because of its safety and lasting qualities.

How to Protect Against Photo Aging

Everyone wants to look young but unfortunately there is no miracle pill or lotion which can do that. However, one of the best ways to look young is to protect against photo aging. Photo aging is the medical term that describes the condition of skin that is caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight. While looking bronzed may look great in your 20s, it will also make you a lot older by the time you are in your 30s and 40s.

Photo aged skin is not difficult to recognize. One develops premature fine lines, wrinkles, skin discolorations and rough texture. It is important to avoid excess sun because once photo aged skin develops, the changes are impossible to reverse. No matter what your cosmetic physician says, all the treatments for photo-aged skin are temporary and usually mask the lines and wrinkles.

The best way to avoid photo-aged skin is to:

Avoid sun exposure from 10 am to 4 pm.

Always wear a sunscreen if you go out. Apply the sunscreen at least 30 minutes before going out.

Wear appropriate clothing, a hat and long sleeved shirt.

Protection against photo aging:

Today, there are a variety of clothing and chemicals which one can use to protect against sunlight. There are UV reflective garments which can protect you from sun. There are also a variety of umbrellas and tents which also reflect the sunlight and prevent absorption of UV rays.

A lot of work has shown that the effects of UV radiation on your skin are directly related to the intensity and duration. The greater the exposure to sunlight, the more severely the skin changes. However even though the greatest intensity of UV rays is from 10 am to 4 pm, many people love the sun and others have no way of avoiding it. For those who cannot avoid the sun, use sun protective sunscreens. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher if you think you will be exposed to the sun for more than 20 minutes. What most consumers do not know is that even on cloudy days, you can get a sunburn. The majority of the sun’s UV rays reach the earth. Just because it is cloudy does not mean you do not have to wear a sunscreen.

Sunscreens:

There are three basic types of sunscreens.

Those which absorb UV radiation with chemicals like para-amino benzoic acid (PABA), cinnamates, salicylates and benzophenones.

Those which reflect UV radiation and contain ingredients like titanium and zinc oxide.
The latest sunscreens also contain a mixture of vitamins (C & E). These compounds do not absorb or reflect UV rays but are thought to enhance the ability of skin to repair the damaged caused by the sun.

The majority of sunscreens today contain a variety of chemicals that protect the skin. Individuals with pale white skin, blonde hair and blue eyes generally burn rather fast are at the highest risk for photo aging and skin cancer. These individuals need the maximum photo-protection. These individuals should use broad spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 or higher.

Topical sunscreens must be approved by the FDA and are available as creams, lotions, gels, ointments and liquids. There is no difference between the formula - it is only a personal choice.

For consumers who do not know much about sunscreens always buy a broad spectrum sunscreens which will protect against both UV A and B rays. UVB rays generally cause more superficial skin damage but the UVA rays can penetrate deep and induce photo aging. The majority of available sunscreens are effective against either UVA or UVB and may also contain blocking agents like zinc oxide. Always read the label before you buy a sunscreen.

For those who just want protection against sunburn, a sunscreen with UVB protection is adequate. For those who want complete protection get one which also blocks UV A rays.

Application of sunscreens:

In general, apply the sunscreen 20-30 minutes before you venture outside.

Cover all the sun exposed areas especially the face, ears, neck, upper arms and legs. For lips get a lip balm sunscreen.

If you stay outdoors for more than 2 hrs then reapply the sunscreen. If you do sweat or swim, reapply the sunscreen after the exercise or use a waterproof sunscreen.

There is a lot of evidence showing that regular use of sunscreens can help protect against skin cancer including the lethal melanoma.

Side effects:

Like all chemicals, sunscreens also have a few rare side effects.

Contact allergy or dermatitis is the most common. If you have allergy to any product in the sunscreen avoid it.

Individuals who have atopic dermatitis, hay fever, eczema or acne should discuss the situation with a skin physician for the best sunscreen.

Clothing:

In the last decade clothing which reflects back UV rays have come into vogue. However this type of clothing is expensive and the evidence that they are protective against sunlight is still not available. It appears that the clothing industries has capitalized on public fear and have been marketing their apparel without real proof. If you cannot afford such clothing, normal clothing with long sleeves, wide brim hat, and sun glasses is just as adequate.

All individuals who spend time outside should be weary of the sun; especially gardeners, farmers, and laborers. Sun protection is something that should be started in childhood. Skin damage begins early and in most cases by the end of second decade the damage has already been done. A lot of work shows that early intense exposure to sun is a risk factor for melanoma.

The best clothing to wear includes those made from nylon and polyester. Tightly woven cotton garments are fine and quite comfortable in environments where there is high heat and humidity.

In general individuals with fair skin have a higher risk of photo aging and they need maximum protection.

Dark skin individuals may not sun burn and may have a low risk for skin cancer, but these individual can become dehydrated and develop wrinkles just the same.

If ever in doubt about buying a sunscreen, get a broad spectrum sun screen with an SPF of at least 30 or higher – and use it.
