Anti aging Cosmetic Surgery with Radiesse

A Natural Look that Lasts

I have reviewed a few other wrinkle fillers including Restylane, Artecoll, Juvederm and Botox and found one of the best cosmetic dermal fillers for anti aging your wrinkles and deep folds in the skin is Radiesse. I’ve done the research, spoken to the various companies that make these cosmetic wrinkle fillers and with women and men who have actually had the work done.

I was speaking with my anti-aging specialist, a medical doctor and a bioidentical hormone expert and I asked her if she uses any cosmetic filler herself. She confirmed that she used “everything” and specifically used Botox for around the eyes and forehead and a filler called Radiesse for her nasal labial folds. She looks fabulous. I asked her why she uses Radiesse and she said it is because it is the longest lasting filler and therefore becomes the cheapest. Radiesse can last up to a year or more and I am considering, for the first time, actually getting it done myself.

What to Expect from Radiesse

Cosmetic surgery for the face done with Radiesse is a budget conscious decision. As far as cosmetic fillers go, it does the job of filling deep folds in the skin which come as a result of aging and the reduction of collagen and elastin within the skin. The best thing about Radiesse is that it is long lasting. This makes it great for your budget. Instead of having to go and get cosmetic surgery each four to six months, you can have this done once a year or even up to once every two years. The end result is natural and reduces the look of tiredness in your face.

Radiesse can be used for nasal labial folds, augmenting the cheek bones, jaw line contouring, tear troughs, marionette lines and filling up old scars such as acne scars. It is advertised as a “next generation in longer lasting wrinkle correction.” As a dermal filler, it’s one of the best.

What is Radiesse made of?

Radiesse has been approved by the health agencies in North America and Europe (FDA approval) and is a safe treatment for the correction of wrinkles and folds.

It is made of calcium based microspheres in a natural gel and is injected into the problem areas. These microspheres work with your body and help support and stimulate the growth of your own collagen. They eventually break down and are naturally absorbed into the body. The results are immediate and last anywhere from one to two years. It is safe and has been clinically tested over many years. Over 4000 doctors have received training with Radiesse dermal filler application.

How is Radiesse used?

Radiesse is injected into the problem sites under the skin. It is used with a local anesthetic to numb the pain of injection which is like a small pin prick. An ice pack is applied immediately after to reduce numbness and swelling. Your doctor may massage the areas after injection to ensure even correction. You could have some side effects such as mild irritation, itching, bruising, swelling or tenderness at the injection site, but most of these side effects are rare.

It can be done in a lunch hour, but maybe take the day off to admire your new younger looking skin. There may be“firmness” to the injection site, but this will dissipate in the days that follow. Avoid aggressive washing or rubbing immediately after having the Radiesse dermal filler done.

As an anti aging tip for best dermal fillers, Radiesse is one of the best choices because of its safety and lasting qualities.

Over 40 Stars Anti-aging Beauty Secrets

Hollywood stars over 40 have quite the arsenal of celebrity beauty secrets for staying young and looking great. Just to name a few, think of the classic Sophia Loren (76) and Catherine Deneuve (67). To add to this list, think of others such as Suzanne Somers (63), Raquel Welch (66), Meryl Streep (60), Julianne Moore (49), Helen Mirren (65), Julia Roberts (43), Nicole Kidman (43), Jennifer Lopez (41), Patricia Clarkson (50), Monica Belluci (46), Sharon Stone (50) and Selma Hayek (43). What all these stars have in common is that they are looking terrific for their age.

Now, granted, all of these women were born with great bone structure, and they have taken care of themselves throughout their lives. Thirty is no longer what 30 used to be and neither is 40 or 50 or 60 or even 70. They all share the same celebrity beauty secrets as far as healthy eating, regular exercising and working out and visiting the right anti aging spas. No doubt, with the cash on hand, they also have the opportunity to purchase wonderful anti-aging skin care, spa treatments, facials, etc.

But if you take a look at their photos, their celebrity beauty goes beyond diet, exercise, private trainers, healthy eating, plenty of water, expensive moisturizers and anti aging treatments.

These stars are going above and beyond the basic beauty routines which all of us can do if we want to look great over 40 years of age.

They are all making use of every form of plastic surgery, cosmetic surgery that the rich can afford. There are so many new techniques in both plastic and cosmetic surgery these days. Some cosmetic surgery procedures are not that expensive and are within the reach of us mere mortals. Granted, when you have to repeatedly have some things done such as Botox or other cosmetic injections which can become expensive over time, the costs add up.

Suzanne Somers, whose looks are her industry of writing award winning books on anti-aging and selling anti-aging and natural organic cosmetics, she has to look good. She eats right with her Somersizing diet, practices yoga, dresses well, uses bioidentical hormones and takes about 65 nutritional supplements each day.

Raquel Welch also does yoga everyday and wears any one of her fabulous wigs. At 66 years old, she has all the anti-aging tools at her finger tips. Experts will say that she’s had lots of cosmetic fillers, cheek enhancements and lip injections.

Some of these Hollywood stars should slow down their anti-aging surgeries though. Nicole Kidman should slow it down. It is obvious that only her lips and eyes move in her face. It should serve as a warning to us that you can have too much cosmetic surgery. No one wants to be branded a “cosmetic surgery junkie.” You want your anti aging treatments to look natural, emphasis on the word “natural.”

Many of the cosmetic surgery procedures are excellent, leaving you looking relaxed, fresh and like you’ve just returned from a vacation. You can bet that everyone in Hollywood that still looks great is doing it. From Cher, Jane Fonda, Michelle Pfeiffer, Demi Moore, they’ve all had a “gentle tweaking.” And it is not only the female stars that are using these anti-aging treatments.

Many of the male actors are also going for youthful looks. Jon Bon Jovi, and Michael Douglas, to name a few. Everyone in Hollywood is doing it – using plastic and cosmetic surgery to enhance their looks and hang onto youth for just a little bit longer. If you are considering anti aging cosmetic surgery, I can just one of the best anti aging tips for you here. Always use an accredited plastic surgeon with a great reputation and for heaven’s sakes, don’t overdo it. The key is to stay natural as you age. Age gracefully!

Artecoll

A Better Anti-Aging Cosmetic Filler

Looking for a cosmetic surgery which takes the years off your face? I will share with you this great anti-aging tip – a process I am definitely a fan of. Another anti-aging cosmetic filler like Botox is a product called Artecoll, made by Canderm Pharma Inc. One of the benefits of Artecoll is that it is a much longer lasting filler than either Botox or Restylane. Since the 1930s, it has been used for eye lenses, dental work and bone repair, so it has a known safety factor for quite some time now.

As an anti-aging treatment, it is used to add volume and structure to your skin as it ages. It is used by clinicians as a solution for acne scars, frowns, laugh lines (nasal labial folds) and thin lips. It is quite successful in building up lost volume in the face.

This bio-compatible solution is made of collagen and microscopic PMMA beads and added lidocaine to help with the pain of the injection site. By stimulating natural collagen production, it “binds” with the collagen building volume and structure to your face where required, this whole process takes from two to three months to be activated. Occasionally a patient will require two or three applications to get the results you are looking for as an anti-aging treatment.

How long will this antiaging procedure last? Artecoll will last for 10 or more years. To get Artecoll, you must have an experienced doctor inject Artecoll. One in a thousand people can be allergic to Artecoll so if you are worried, you can have a sensitivity test performed on your skin. If Artecoll proves to be the option for you, then you may experience some redness, swelling, bumps, bruising and itchiness which you can deal with by using cold compresses and acetaminophen, These side effects will disappear in a few day. Another bonus besides getting lost volume replaced in your face is that there is no downtime with Artecoll. If you want you can have this done on your lunch hour and return to work that afternoon. However, I would recommend having it done on a Friday and if there is any redness of bruising, you have the weekend in front of you so the redness or bruising will subside.

Consult with your antiaging doctor to find out if Artecoll is the solution for you. As a booster to collagen production in your skin and an excellent way of giving back lost volume to your face, even though it is slightly higher in price than Botox, I highly recommend Artecoll injections.

Anti-Aging - Restylane - Cosmetic Filler

Continuing on my articles about the best antiaging cosmetic fillers, Restylane is a filler used for lips, wrinkles and facial contours such as the nasal labial fold. A Swedish company called Q-Med, a company that develops, produces and markets medical implants manufactures Restylane. It is approved for use as a cosmetic filler by both the FDA in the U.S. and Health Canada

Restylane is used to make lips fuller, fills in deep folds in the face and smoothes wrinkles. It is made from stabilized hyaluronic acid. Restylane creates a soft natural look by filling out volume and smoothing wrinkles. The benefits of Restylane is that it produces natural and longer lasting results. Although the results are not permanent, they last a long time – about six to eight months. This is based on individual factors which, include facial muscle activity, life style and type of skin.

Restylane is safe to use. It is used in over 60 countries worldwide by millions of people. Hyaluronic acid, its chief ingredient is non animal, which makes it safe because there is no opportunity to transfer disease or cause allergic reaction in patients with such sensitivities as allergies to eggs, chicken or beef. The Restylane substance is both biodegradable and stabilized .. It is made under the most stringent sterilized conditions by a patented process in the labs of Q-Med. Hyaluronic acid is a substance which is identical in all species and tissue types.

Restylane is injected in very small amounts into the skin area that requires it. The gel binds to water and is absorbed slowly. In this way, it maintains the results. After about six to eight months you will need to have more Restylane injects to maintain the results. Side effects to Restylane injections include: discoloration and tenderness at the site of injection, redness, swelling, itching, and perhaps slight pain. Unless you require it, it is not necessary to have local anesthetic. Only about one in 2000 people may have sensitivity reactions which can start a day or two after the injection.

Consult with an experienced doctor about Restylane injections and cosmetic surgery. to find out if Restylane will work for you. As far as natural antiaging tips go, the cosmetic filler Restylane is made from hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Cosmetic wrinkle fillers are not totally natural, but sometimes we need a little extra help fighting the hands of time.

Best AntiAging Cosmetic Procedures - Botox

When you decide it is time that you look into investigating cosmetic surgery or wrinkle fillers to improve your looks and feel better about yourself, there are many options available to you. Your first line of action should be to talk to your friends who have had these cosmetic procedures done before. Then do some research on the internet. And here is where I will help you with a brief summary of the Botox procedure. I will write further in new postings about other cosmetic procedures available to you. If the wrinkle filler Botox sounds like something you would be interested in, your next step is to book a consultation with an anti-aging specialist who will make the best suggestion to you. Botox is one of the most commonly used cosmetic procedures for filling in areas of your face which have formed wrinkles or depressions due to declining levels of collagen and elastin.

Botox is very commonly used today. It was first approved by the government for the treatment of childhood cerebral palsy, ophthalmic disorders and hyperactive muscles in 1997. Botox does not have many side effects, but the few that you might experience are really minimal, temporary, and reversible . Botox is mainly used for cosmetic purposes to decrease frown lines and crows feet and other small lines around the eyes. It was approved for cosmetic use in April, 2001.

How Botox works is that once injected, it relaxes the muscles that actually create the wrinkles giving the face a more relaxed and youthful look. The process can be done over a lunch hour and there is no downtime to the procedure.

What is Botox exactly? It is a purified protein which is injected into the area that needs it. It is used for frown lines in the forehead and wrinkles around the eyes. After injection into the muscle, it causes the muscle to relax, smoothing out the wrinkle which has formed over the muscle. It does not affect the sensory nerves so you will still have feeling in the area of the injection. I advise you to only an experienced doctor inject the Botox because they are experienced and will be able to evaluate the correct dose and the exact injection site.

As far as safety is concerned, Botox has been used in ophthalmology for over 10 years and for cosmetic injection surgery for at least seven years. You may experience a slight bruising in the area after injections, but this is temporary thing. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, you should not use Botox.

Botox injections effects are temporary and can last anywhere from three to four months. After that time, you will need to get more injections to maintain the effect. The good thing is that after using Botox a few times in one area, you will find the effect of Botox may start to last for a longer period of time.

If you are interested in pursuing this best antiaging procedure, please contact your cosmetic surgeon or anti-aging doctor to find out if Botox is right choice for you.
